Avoid corporate structures, although your managers may be most familiar with those! Scale-ups do need management systems which scale up at minimal overhead and effort. Agil, Scrum, Lean, Performance Management, daily huddles: Different names for one principle to form the right culture. The result in lab, production and office: Flexibility, self-organization and everyone focuses on the important results. Are you just not quite profitable yet? Do you need to achieve positive cashflows without further capital investment? As Start-Up processes are optimized using technology, as this yields biggest results. If your technology remains constant, the very different challenge is to optimally organize your operations around it. This helps to „work smarter, not harder“ and reduces defects, cost and increases productivity at the same time. Critical for profitability and can be achieved with a variety of methods! Daily improvement-routines, Workshops to redesign processes and „Six Sigma“-projects: I can lead those for you and enable your employees to do the same.

Every process contains wastes, known as 7 types of activities which are not adding value to any customer! You don’t want to automate wastes, thus identify and remove as many as possible upfront. This also helps you identifying which digital solution is best and sometimes makes the process so easy, that you can postpone investing in software. The most efficient approach is a well prepared and facilitated workshop of typically 1-2 days.

Why am I the right person for you? The above insights I gained from 10+ years as consultant in Lean, Agile and SixSigma, mostly for pharmaceutical companies. Additionally I contribute my experience gained on the board of an established family-owned manufacturer, from running my own Consulting and being Business Angel for a climate-tech startup.
